The long nursing hours took away time from Alex's kids back in 2018. She decided to pursue her love for aesthetics and get certified as a nurse injector through Glam Med Spa, after having worked with Nurse Practioner Krista Arrendondo before Krista joined Advanced Skin Lounge. Alex has since attended several trainings in the industry to further refine her skills. She has even been trained one-on-one under Dr. Jack Zamora, renowned cosmetic surgeon in Denver.
Alex began her career as a Registered Nurse in 2013 at Banner Behavioral Hospital working acute psych. A year later she began working at Chandler Regional Medical Center as a tele-neuro nurse while finishing her Master's in Education program, still PRN as a psych nurse. In 2016, she became the Chief Clinical Officer for Dignity Health East Valley Rehab. After a year, decided to go into teaching for Grand Canyon University and as a travel nurse educator for Novasyte. At this time, her kids were getting busier with sports so she pursued hospice before diving into nurse injections. Her background allows her to quickly react in case of complications to ensure best patient outcomes and safety.
Alex is a mom of three, now 19, 17 and 14 years old and stays busy with their schedules. She believes that your face is your branding, so her priority is to keep you looking authentically you, listening to your concerns, develop a plan to achieve your goals and provide a safe space to discuss your possible insecurities. She also coaches fitness clients online because she believes you should feel as beautiful as you look!
